Hi all,

I recently interviewed for a Higher Executive Officer (HEO) role. It was a single-vacancy post, and I’ve since been informed that I have been placed on the reserve list, where I am currently the only candidate. The reserve list is only until 27th July.

I’m trying to better understand how reserve lists are typically used in this context and what this might mean in practice (for example, whether it commonly leads to a future offer or is more of a procedural step).

If anyone has experience with similar situations in Civil Service recruitment or comparable processes, I’d really appreciate any insight.
