I was told it is 7 shifts that's require but then why does the shift selection allow a minimum of 7 shifts? Should I pick an 8th shift just incase?

I've completed my training like two weeks ago and finished e-learning.

And I keep checking the dashboard on my PC but I was wondering if I need to have the app because my phone is old and won't let me download it due to iOS being older.

I have not heard from anyone in regards to shifts or uniforms, is that why?
