Hello, my boyfriend’s father recently died. He had some Medicaid overpayments that my boyfriend wasn’t aware of. They never told him that he was supposed to report to them about the overpayments. But his dad let his sister use the money instead to pay rent for their apartment. My boyfriend has been worried about going to jail. Anyone have this happen to them? Any lawyers on here that can help out? He didn’t touch any of the money and he was his dad’s conservatorship.
