I'm new to make-up and I love using glitter eye shadow a lot. However throughout the day my eyes start to feel a little irritated and watery.

I'm pretty certain it's not an allergy I think I may be applying it wrong, I have tried putting it not so close to my eye but there isn't much of a difference, I've tried many brands also but they end up the same.

I've tried different kinds of glitter eye shadow types as well like finer glitters and ones that are more of a gel? consistency sorry I don't know the word... but I still have the same issue.

If i'm just getting unlucky with the brands I'd like some good recommendations!
