Bonjour! We are an American family moving to Paris in 2027 and looking for advice or resources on the best arrondissement and public schools for our two children. When we arrive, our children will be 7 and 9 and in CE1 and CM1. Despite being American we have lived in a few other countries where my children went to French AEFE schools so they are fluent in French and thrive in the French school system already. So we are looking for a neighborhood with strong public schools and a good environment for families. As my children already speak the language fluently, we would like them to be in a school where they fully immerse into the French system. Other ideal neighborhood attributes would include being close to public transportation, green space, diversity, good markets/restaurants, and monthly rent under 4000 Euros. What are your neighborhood recommendations? And are there any resources out there for finding public schools in Paris?
