Hey everyone,
I’m running Curse of Strahd and I’m thinking about changing Parriwimple’s fate, I’d like your opinion.
Here’s what happened in my game: my players drunked out Parriwimple, he fall asleep in the tavern, and they stoled items from Bildrath’s shop. Then they barricaded the door to the backroom.
Because of that, I want to show them that their actions have consequences.
i will use the CoS Reloaded Strahd encounter, but make Parriwimple Strahd’s coachman. His uncle kicked him out after the incident, thinking he’d come back after a few days surviving in the wilderness. Instead Strahd found him and took him in.
I want to show them that Strahd is aware of what the players did, he will call out on what happened briefly
(the two Vistani at the Blood on the Vine tavern told him).
Also reinforce the idea that Barovia reacts to the players actions.
Do you think this is a good twist, or does it's too messed up?
