Escape: Immersion - AzDimension & Royal Games - Atmospheric survival platformer inside a collapsing underwater military complex
Hey everyone! We’ve been working on Escape: Immersion - an atmospheric underwater horror adventure inspired by INSIDE and Little Nightmares.
The game takes place inside a collapsing underwater military base that is slowly being consumed by the ocean. Players must survive environmental hazards, platforming challenges, flooding corridors, and unpredictable events while trying to escape the facility.
Gameplay is focused on exploration, survival, platforming, environmental storytelling, and cinematic moments. We also use VHS-inspired visuals and sound design to create a more oppressive atmosphere.
We recently released a public Steam demo and spent the last months improving the game based on player feedback. The latest major update included 70+ fixes and improvements affecting gameplay, visuals, atmosphere, optimization, and environmental interactions.
The current demo available on Steam contains the opening part of the game and gives players a chance to experience the atmosphere and core gameplay systems.
