Appl released earnings yesterday and the numbers were strong, about $111.2B revenue, up 17% YoY, and EPS at $2.01, up 22%. iPhone and Services both did very well, so normally you’d expect price to keep going up. But since this came out after Friday close, most traders are just watching the weekend without taking positions. For me, this feels like an opportunity.
I took a few quick scalps earlier during the first move. I caught small moves between $271.3 and $270.8 a couple of times when price kept reacting there.
At first, I was just copy trading an elite trader on Bitget and watching how he was trading. But when I saw him trading around the same levels I was already looking at, I decided to try it myself. I took a few small trades just to practice and improve.
Now I’m looking for a weekend swing. Instead of waiting for Monday, I’m watching key levels now. Here’s my plan, let me know yours too.
On the 4H, AAPL already moved above $278 and cleared supply, so the trend still looks bullish. But there’s also a gap between $272 and $276 that price might come back to fill. At the same time, liquidity is above around $283.75 and also near $288, so both directions are possible.
Long idea (dip then move up)
If price drops, I’ll watch for a sweep near $278. If it goes into the $272–$276 zone, that’s the area I’m interested in.
Trigger: wait for clear 1m confirmation, a sweep and then a bullish shift
Entry: first small pullback after the shift
Targets: around $283.75 first, then $288 if it keeps going
Invalidation: no reaction from $276 or price staying below it
Short idea (trap near highs)
If price moves up to $283.75 but can’t stay above it, I’ll treat it as a fake move.
Trigger: rejection on 1m and bearish shift
Entry: retest of supply area
Targets: mid range first, then back to $278
Invalidation: strong move and hold above $283.75
What I’m watching
Which side gets taken first, $278 or $283.75
How price behaves inside $272–$276
Reaction near highs
Clear confirmation before entering
I’m not trying to predict, just reacting to what price does. Even small moves can work if managed well, and I prefer staying active instead of waiting for Monday when better setups might already be gone.
What’s your view on AAPL this week?
