Question about Super Dirt's stategic "genius" in the Grand Delivery of Fresh Meat To Our Doorstep (so-called "Battle for Cyberstan")

I just re-read notes about so-called "Battle for Cyberstan" (in-formally known as "Slaughter of Super-Cattle"). I wasn't there in the times of this fun party myself. So I am kinda surprized about one detail: did Super Dirt really gave order to CringeJumpers to rescue 30000 of trapped cannon fodder enthusiasts (so-called "SEAF "soldiers"")?

Like, in the middle of enemy territory, completely surrounded, logistic lines strained beyond capacity... and they are ordering their most elite shock troop force to go and fucking waste millions of their lifes over... 30k low-key losers?? Like... WTF?

Maybe there are something more in there? Maybe those 30K "soldiers" were some high-ranking officers, or scientists, and we just let them to escape?

I mean, I know a lot about common Super Dirtian's decision making skill (or rather abscence of that), but... there should be some boundary how stupid any living being can be.
