I run sound for bands at breweries, bars, backyards, small venues, etc. I am getting more requests to provide a lighting setup for shows. I have a little experience with DMX but am mostly looking for a simple rig that I can chuck on stage to provide some visual interest. Something that can be hands off or programable if I have the capacity. Maybe something I can expand on in the future. I don't really have a budget in mind yet. Just starting to do some research and wanted to see what the community recommends for a basic lighting rig. Thanks!
