A photo of Ernest "Ernie" Aiello. The current Bonanno Family acting consigliere.

A photo of Ernest "Ernie" Aiello. The current Bonanno Family acting consigliere.

Born around 1979, he was raised in the Bronx. In 2013, Aiello and eight other Bonanno Family mobsters were indicted on gambling, loan sharking, extortion and drug trafficking charges. The case ended in a mistrial in 2016. In 2025, he was one of many mobsters who were pinched for being involved in a rigged poker ring. Some notable NBA figures were also charged.

This should be proof that the Mob is still around and strong with younger members filling the shoes of the old mafiosi. There aren't as many made guys like there used to be, yet don't let that fool you.

The late Gambino Family capo Anthony "Tony" Scotto. He was a powerful mafioso from Brooklyn. Read more interesting facts below.

Scotto achieved a massive amount of power in two different worlds. On one hand, he was a powerful labor leader, who succeeded his father-in-law Anthony "Tough Tony" Anastasio as president of the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) Local 1840, effectively controlling the Brooklyn waterfront. On the other hand, feds identified him as a major figure in Cosa Nostra.

He was born on May 10, 1934 in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, currently named Carroll Gardens. At age 16, Scotto started working as a longshoreman on the Brooklyn waterfront. He graduated from St. Francis Preparatory School in Brooklyn in 1953.

Scotto studied pre-law and political science at Brooklyn College, but dropped out after 18 months of college. In 1956, he met the lovely Marion Anastasio, whose father was Gambino Family captain Anthony "Tough Tony" Anastasio. Scotto also became an associate of the Gambino Family just a month after hooking up with Marion.

The following year, Scotto married Marion. As the president of Local 1814 in Red Hook, Anastasio used his position to control the Brooklyn docks. Scotto became an ILA officer and a made member of the Gambino Family later that year. In 1959, Scotto became the organization director at Local 1814.

In 1963, Anastasio died and Scotto succeeded him as head of Local 1814 and as captain. In 1969, the informant Joseph Valachi identified Scotto in U.S. Senate hearings as a member of the Gambino Family. During his 20-year reign on the NYC docks, Scotto was able to make connections to powerful politicians.

In November 1979, he was convicted of tax evasion and accepting illegal payoffs. As a result, he was forced to resign as the head of Local 1814 and barred for life from engaging in union affairs on the NYC waterfront. He also had to pay a $75,000 fine and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

In 1993, he opened the Italian restaurant Fresco by Scotto in Manhattan. Scotto and Marion had four children together and one of them became the famous NYC news reporter Rosanna Scotto. Mr. Scotto died on August 21, 2021, at the age of 87.

A current picture of alleged Genovese Family acting captain Salvatore "Sally KO" Larca Jr.

Larca Jr. is a longtime member of the Genovese Family. He was born in the Morris Park section of the Bronx to Italian American parents in 1968. His father was also a member of the Genovese Family. Like his father, he remained loyal and refused to become an informant like some other wiseguys did.

In 2003, he became a made member of the 116th Street crew of the Genovese Family under the new captain Pasquale "Uncle Patty" Falcetti. In February 2006, he was arrested for selling firearms. On December 21, 2006, he pleaded guilty to the charge of weapons trafficking. He was sentenced to 5 years in federal prison. In early 2010, he was released from prison after serving 4 years of time for good behavior. In March 2011, the Genovese Family associate Anthony Zoccolillo introduced Larca Jr. to a marijuana grower and supplier in Northern California, where Larca Jr. quickly had a massive amount of the green bud shipped to the Bronx to be sold in the streets. Larca Jr. had great success selling the weed because it became a hot commodity in the Bronx.

In November 2012, Zoccolillo was arrested for selling some of the marijuana and agreed to become an informant against Larca Jr. Zoccolillo began wearing a hidden recording device and caught Larca Jr. talking about plans to bring in another shipment of the green bud from Northern California. Larca Jr. was arrested for selling the marijuana in May 2013. The three sons of the imprisoned Bonanno Family wiseguy Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano were also arrested for allegedly helping Larca Jr. sell it.

In February 2014, he was convicted and sentenced to 9 years in federal prison. In 2016, his best friend Michael "Hippie" Zanfardino was released from prison and was promoted to captain. Zanfardino was even allowed to start a new crew, which became known as the East Bronx crew.

Larca Jr. was released from prison for good behavior and transferred from the 116th Street crew to the East Bronx crew of the Genovese Family in 2020. In June 2021, he opened a small pizzeria in Queens. Unfortunately, the place closed its doors in late 2022.

In October 2024, he started a construction company. The following year, he became the acting captain of the East Bronx crew when Zanfardino was facing too much heat from law enforcement officers and decided to get some attention off of him and move to New Jersey. Larca Jr. had a bad injury at a construction site in the Bronx and was briefly hospitalized in July 2026.

Former Genovese Family captain Angelo "The Horn" Prisco

Prisco was born to Italian American parents in East Harlem on August 1, 1939. At that time, East Harlem was primarily Italian until a large number of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans moved there in the 1950s. Now it's known as Spanish Harlem. Coming from a tough street life, Prisco began stealing items from stores as a teenager and selling them for cheaper in the streets, which gave him a reputation as a good hustler. In addition to that, he became known for being good with his fists.

In 1971, he joined the East Harlem Purple Gang after his cousin Michael Meldish invited him to become a member. Meldish was a tough hood with a Jewish father and Italian American mother. Even though Prisco was 32 years old, most of the members of EHPG were in their teens and twenties.

In 1979, he became a made member of the Genovese Family under captain Mario Gigante. Mario was the brother of the future boss Vincent "The Chin" Gigante, who officially became boss in 1981. Prisco became a captain after arranging the murder of the Genovese Family captain John "Johnny D" DiGilio in 1988. Once a respected wiseguy from North Jersey, DiGilio was shelved by Gigante for being accused of being a rat with no actual paperwork to prove that DiGilio cooperated with the government. Prisco took control of DiGilio's North Jersey crew just after the murder.

In February 1992, Prisco burned a man's bar on fire a week after the man disrespected Gigante behind his back by making rude remarks about the boss to his customers. On June 2, 1992, Prisco arranged the murder of his first cousin, Angelo Sangiuolo, on behalf of the Genovese Family. Sangiuolo was a Genovese Family associate. Gigante ordered the hit because Sangiuolo had been robbing Bronx-based gambling operations controlled by a Genovese Family soldier named Anthony Palumbo.

In January 1994, Prisco was arrested for the murder of DiGilio and for starting that fire at the bar. He was held without bail. Later that year, the murder charge against Prisco was dropped when Genovese Family soldier Louis "Louie" Auricchio admitted to shooting DiGilio and dumping his body in the Hackensack River. Prisco was still convicted for the arson charge in 1998. He was sentenced to 12 years in state prison. He ended up doing 9 years and was released in January 2003. In March 2003, he saved the actor Steven Seagal from being hurt after the Gambinos threatened Seagal for refusing to pay them over a beef Seagal had with a Gambino Family soldier. Seagal paid Prisco $10,000 to smooth things out and protect him. Prisco was able to get everything resolved with no problems.

In December 2008, he was arrested for the murder of his cousin. On August 18, 2009, he was sentenced to life. Prisco served his life sentence at USP Coleman in Florida. In October 2010, some guards woke him up at night and brought him out of his cell without giving him a logical reason why. They brought him into a room where feds tried getting him to flip after offering him coffee and donuts. He decided to briefly chat with them, but he refused to rat on anyone. He only admitted that he was a captain in the Genovese Family. He died in federal custody on June 21, 2017, at the age of 77. Unfortunately, there is an English podcaster with a YouTube channel that did a disrespectful video about Prisco after his death by claiming that Prisco was a rat for briefly sitting down with the feds. The podcaster made the video in 2024. However, many people proved the podcaster to be wrong.

Two pics of Ontario boss Rocco Luppino, the captain of Hamilton for the Buffalo Family. The photo on the left is when he was arrested in 1978, and the one on the right is a headshot from after he was questioned by cops in 2018. He refused to tell them anything.

His father, Giacomo Luppino, was also a mafioso. Born in 1900, Giacomo moved to Hamilton from the region of Calabria, with his wife and their 10 children in 1956. While in Hamilton, Giacomo quickly established himself as a local mafioso and joined Buffalo's Magaddino Family, even though the Papalia Family of the 'Ndrangheta were hoping that he became a member of their organization.

At the time, Santo Scibetta was the captain of the Hamilton crew for Buffalo until being incarcerated in 1960. After that, Giacomo was elevated to captain, and Rocco was inducted into the life in 1976. In 1978, Rocco began fighting a five year battle in court after being arrested for extortion until being acquitted in 1983. After Giacomo passed away in 1987, Rocco was elevated to captain of Hamilton.

Rocco's son, Cece, was murdered at his home in 2019. According to video footage, he was shot to death by what appears to be a black man in a hoodie. Nobody knows why he was murdered and the suspect has never been caught for this murder. Many people think that the Hells Angels of Montreal paid the guy to do this hit because the Hells Angels were angry with the Luppinos for doing some street business in their turf in Montreal. A year earlier, the Hells Angels broke into the home of Rocco's brother Natale. They vandalized the home and stole several expensive items from it.

There were 2 powerful Calabrian-descended mob organizations in Hamilton. You had the Papalia Family and Musitano Family that were 'Ndrangheta organizations, and then you had the Magaddino Family of Buffalo. All 3 groups ran things in the Hamilton area.

Genovese Family soldier Dominick "Black Dom" Dionisio, who was a Colombo Family associate during the time this photo was taken, while a guest of the government in the 2010s. Read some valuable information about Dionisio below this.

Born in Brooklyn in 1970, he grew up in the Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn to Italian immigrant parents. He was a childhood pal of Colombo Family member William "Billy" Cutolo Jr. In November 1991, Dominick successfully stole $50,125 from a Jewish school on McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn. On January 10, 1992, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland.

On February 18, 1992, he robbed a drug dealer for $850 outside of a bar in Baltimore. In 1993, he moved back to Brooklyn and was soon placed in the Colombo Family crew of William "Wild Bill" Cutolo Sr. as an associate. Not long after that, he began taking part in the war within the Colombo Family. Known as a fearless hood, he built up a reputation for robbing drug dealers for the Cutolo crew. In 1996, he introduced Bath Avenue Crew member Chris Paciello to some of his pals in the Cutolo crew.

In June 1999, he was arrested and held without bail for his involvement in a stock fraud scheme. He was convicted in April 2000, and he was sentenced to 9 years in federal prison. In October 2000, Paciello decided to snitch on his gang members in the Bath Avenue Crew to law enforcement officers after he was convicted of murder. Dominick was released in January 2008.

In August 2008, Paciello decided to snitch on Dominick to the FBI over the 1991 Jewish school robbery. In October 2008, Dominick began working at the popular Brooklyn pizzeria known as Lucali.

On February 15, 2009, he was called to a Colombo Family meeting in Brooklyn and told that he could never become a made member of the family for introducing the rat Paciello to members of the family. He was told that he was welcome to stay an associate of that family or join another one. He decided to stay a member.

In April 2009, Dominick was arrested for robbing the Jewish school due to Paciello telling on him. This time, he was granted bail. In August 2011, Dominick pleaded guilty to the robbery. He was sentenced to 7 years in the feds. In 2018, he was released from prison. In 2021, he met Genovese Family captain John Brescio. Dominick began hanging out with Brescio at the captain's pizzeria known as Lombardi's Pizza, which is in Manhattan. In March 2022, he was able to switch families and joined the Genovese Family as an associate under Brescio.

In early 2024, he became a made member of the Genovese Family. Months after he was inducted into the family, rumors spread like wildfire on social media about him. One rumor claimed that Dominick is half black and another rumor claimed that he is half Puerto Rican. Both of those rumors are completely wrong. Dominick is as Sicilian as it gets and was even taught the Sicilian dialect by his parents while growing up in Brooklyn. He's just a darker skinned Italian man.

Alleged Buffalo Family boss Joseph "Big Joe" Todaro Jr.

Joseph Todaro Jr. was born to Joseph Todaro Sr. and Josephine Santamauro in 1945. In 1970, Todaro Jr., along with his father and three others were charged by the FBI for running illegal gambling games with dice and cards, but the gambling case ended with no convictions. In 1975, he became the manager of his father's restaurant La Nova Pizzeria.

In 1984, Todaro Jr. allegedly became the underboss of the Buffalo Family when his father became the Godfather of Buffalo just after the retirement of his predecessor Samuel "Sam the Farmer" Frangiamore. In 1990, Todaro Jr. resigned as business agent of LIUNA following investigations into the local union's ties to what the government calls organized crime.

On September 6, 1993, his son Joseph Todaro III married Dana Christine Panepinto, the daughter of the current captain Donald Panepinto. In 2006, Todaro Sr. gave up his position as boss and Todaro Jr. allegedly became the official boss. Todaro Sr. died on December 26, 2012, at the age of 89. That's when Todaro Jr. took over the ownership of La Nova Pizzeria. It's a popular pizzeria in Buffalo, which Todaro Sr. opened in the 1950s.

Todaro Jr. allegedly shelved Buffalo Mob soldier Peter Gerace Sr. in December 2025 due to the legal troubles and problems with his son, Peter Gerace Jr. However, sources indicate that Gerace Sr. was taken off of the shelf and brought back into active family affairs in June 2026.

According to law enforcement sources in Buffalo, the family currently has 17 made members and around 25 associates, with 3 crews. One crew is in Buffalo, another crew operates in Utica, New York, and another crew is located in Ontario, Canada. The family used to have 45 made members in the late 1980s.

Former Philly Mob underboss Joseph "Mousie" Massimino having fun at a party in the 1990s. Check out the article underneath this for more info about this street legend of Philly.

He was born in South Philly on April 23, 1950. In 1985, he became an associate of the Philly Mob. He went to prison for 2 years for selling weed in 1988. He was released in 1990, and there was a new boss in Philly named John Stanfa at that time. The former boss was Nicky Scarfo, but he went to prison for life in the late 1980s.

Ralph Natale became the boss when Stanfa went away in 1995, and Joseph "Skinny Joey" Merlino was chosen as the underboss. Massimino became the underboss after Merlino became the boss when Natale decided to cooperate with the FBI in 1999. In 2001, he was arrested for allegedly running a sports betting ring. Luckily, he was granted bail and fought his case on the outside. Unfortunately, he was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in state prison in 2005. He only did 5 years of that sentence for good behavior and was released in 2009.

In May 2011, he was arrested for loansharking. This time he was denied bail because the judge felt that he was a threat to the community. In 2013, he was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. In 2023, he was released from prison after only doing 12 years for good behavior. The following year, he got a job working at Oregan Steaks in South Philly making Philly cheese steaks.

The late Salvatore "Chuckie" Merlino (on the left) and his son Joseph "Skinny Joey" Merlino. A striking resemblance!

Salvatore was born in 1939. Originally from Atlantic City, he got involved with the Philly Mob as an associate after befriending Nicodemo "Little Nicky" Scarfo in 1961. In 1980, he received his button. Just a year after Salvatore was straightened out, Scarfo became the boss of the Philly Mob and made Salvatore his underboss. He was the underboss for several years until Scarfo demoted him to a soldier for having too many drunk outbursts in public in 1986. In 1989, he was sentenced to 45 years in prison. He died in prison in 2012. His son, Joseph, became the boss of the Philly Mob in 1999. Joseph remained the boss until supposedly being shelved by the New York dons for being interviewed on VladTV in March 2024.

An old picture from 1977. Dominick "Sonny Black" Napolitano (far left), John Gotti, Dan Galardi, and an unknown person. Read the valuable info under this to understand more about this interesting photo and where Napolitano's hand is.

There are some knuckleheads in some of these Facebook groups for the mob genre. On one group, I recall seeing comments to this photo where people made some off color remarks by claiming Napolitano's hand was on Gotti's crotch, yet it wasn't. It's been confirmed by Napolitano's grandsons that his hand was actually on Gotti's right thigh. However, many Italians back in those days often joked with their friends by walking up to them to pretent like they were going to squeeze their private spots. They called that "goosing" someone.

Gotti wasn't made yet, he was only an associate, but also an acting captain of the Fatico crew at the Bergin Hunt and Fish Club in Ozone Park in Queens, NY. He was the first associate to be an acting captain as no Cosa Nostra famy ever let their associates have an acting captain position. Napolitano was made a year before this photo was taken. Dan Galardi was only a small time drug dealer, but a connected guy.

Alleged Philly Mob caporegime Phil Narducci. Read more info below.

In 1980, he became an associate of the Philly Mob with his father's blessing. His father was reputed Philadelphia Family captain Frank “Chickie” Narducci. Frank was gunned down in a 1982 hit. Phil was convicted for extortion and attempted murder in 1989, and he spent 22 years in prison for those crimes. He was released in 2012, and he opened his successful restaurant called Chick’s with his wife five years later.

In 2019, Phil went back to the joint after being convicted of extortion again. Luckily, he only did a year in the joint this time. Recently, there has been some negative gossip floating around about Phil in the mob genre, specifically by a content creator using a fake last name that is a neighborhood in Brooklyn. This specific content creator has been saying that Phil wrote a letter with disparaging remarks about the current Philadelphia Mob boss Georgie Borgesi. However, according to Phil's camp, he never wrote this letter and definitely wouldn't say anything disrespectful about his brothers in his borgata to any civilian.

Phil did 23 years in the joint in total, which proves that he kept his mouth shut and was willing to do many years behind bars for Cosa Nostra. With that said, if he stood strong behind the walls for all of those years, then you better believe that he'd remain loyal to the life and not spill the beans about Philly Mob business to some delusional Medigan, who wants to be an Italian. Also, he wouldn't use the phrase "busted a grape," but there's an informant in the mob genre with the initials GB who would.

Although Phil was a childhood pal of Joey Merlino, they both drifted apart after the beef Joey had with Nicky Scarfo Jr. in the late 1980s. Scarfo Jr. and Phil were best friends.

New pic of former Colombo Family caporegime Gregory Scarpa Jr.

Gregory Scarpa Jr. was a member of the Colombo Family from 1975 until 1998. He's the son of Gregory Scarpa Sr. and Concetta Farace. Despite the fact that he's currently considered no good in the eyes of wiseguys for cooperating with the feds, his cooperation was entirely different than true rats like Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, Anthony "Gaspipe" Casso, Michael Franzese, Dominick Cicale or even his own father.

He never ratted on any made member or associate of the Italian American Street Brotherhood. Being the Patriotic American that he is, he decided to tell the Government about anti-American terrorists who were doing time with him in the 1990s and 2000s. In fact, he originally refused to cooperate with the feds about anyone until those terrorists started telling him personal information like when one of them told him about bomb making materials and explosives that were buried in Kansas and when another terrorist was planning on killing a guard in the correctional institution that he was housed at.

After doing 31 years in the feds, he was granted compassionate release on November 11, 2020. Judge Edward Korman ordered his release after he was diagnosed with cancer and for struggling with dementia. After getting out of prison, he tried to get his position back as a member of the Colombo Family, yet they refused to let him in because they feel he shouldn't have ratted on anyone.

A nice photo of Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano when he was a free man. Look below for an in-depth piece on Basciano.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙭 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙤

Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano was born in the Morris Park section of the Bronx to Italian American parents on November 14, 1959. In 1979, he began getting involved with the Bonanno Family as an associate and was placed in the crew of Dominick "Big Trin" Trinchera. The following year, he became a driver for Trinchera. In 1983, he began selling marijuana on the streets of the Bronx. In 1985, he was given the order to whack a gambler named David Nunez for running a rival gambling operation. Basciano allegedly shot Nunez, but the man survived the shooting. In 1987, he was arrested for having two loaded guns in his car. He was sentenced to a year in prison for the possession of firearms. In 1991, he was inducted into the Bonanno Family.

In 1993, he opened Hello Gorgeous Beauty Salon at 4030 East Tremont Ave. in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx. It was previously a tanning salon. This is what gave him the nickname that he has. On June 15, 1999, he brought Dominick "Dom" Cicale into the Bonanno Family as an associate. In August of 1999, he ran into Vincent "Vinny TV" Badalamenti at a coffee shop in the Bronx, where Badalamenti told him that Cicale might be a rat. While telling Cicale about the encounter the next day, Cicale steadfastly denied the allegation. Basciano quickly had a sitdown with both of them where things got heated and a fist fight almost occurred between Cicale and Badalamenti.

Basciano murdered the Bonanno Family associate named Frank Santoro with Cicale on February 15, 2001. Santoro was murdered for disrespecting Basciano's son by telling people that he wanted to kidnap him. In April of 2001, he slammed a homosexual right through a table after the guy made an uncomfortable pass at him at a bar in White Plains, New York. After the incident, the victim was told by several guys at the bar that it would be a wise decision not to call the police on Basciano. In January of 2003, he became the acting boss of the Bonanno Family after the boss Joe Massino was arrested. In March of 2003, he made Cicale an inducted member of the family. In April of 2003, he made Cicale the captain of his old crew just a month after Cicale was straightened out. A week later, some members of the Genovese Family told Basciano to not trust Cicale because they thought that he was a rat, but Basciano ignored the warning and basically told them to relax. Joe Massino became a confidential informant for the FBI immediately after being convicted and sentenced to life in July 2004. Basciano was arrested for being involved in a large sports betting ring and for the 1985 attempted murder of Nunez on November 19, 2004.

On November 30, 2004, he had Randy Pizzolo murdered for embarrassing the family for having multiple drunk outbursts in public. After plenty of warnings, Basciano decided to have Pizzolo whacked. Pizzolo was a Bonanno Family associate. He had Cicale and a young associate named Anthony "Ace" Aiello do the hit. Ace received his button not long after this murder. In January of 2005, the feds had Massino record conversations with Basciano while they were both in the same jail in Brooklyn to get Basciano to admit that he ordered the murder of Pizzolo and about how Basciano was allegedly plotting to kill a federal prosecutor named Greg Andres.

Massino met with Basciano and was able to get Basciano to admit that he ordered Cicale to get Aiello to do the hit. As a result, Basciano was charged with the murder of Pizzolo. Cicale became an informant against Basciano and Aiello in January 2006. Cicale testified against Basciano in court in June 2007. Basciano was found guilty and was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 2011. In 2016, he was transferred from ADX Florence to USP Big Sandy. He began riding with the Surenos while at USP Big Sandy and was questioned by the shotcaller for the Peckerwoods in his housing area for hanging out with Mexicans. According to witnesses, Basciano told him to mind his own business. "Italians have similar codes of honor and conduct like the Mexicans have," he said. He went on to say that "Italians are the original Latinos." This piece of information comes from two former inmates who were in the same housing area in USP Big Sandy at that time. In 2024, he was transferred to USP Coleman, which is in Florida. In 2026, he was transferred again. This time to USP Florence High Security Federal Prison. Basciano is not in ADX Florence, he is in USP Florence High.

Chicago Outfit member Filippo "Gigi" Rovito in the kitchen at his restaurant Capri in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Read the words below this for more facts about him.

Restaurateur and Chicago Outfit figure Filippo "Gigi" Rovito was arrested for being involved in an illegal gambling operation in May 2026. He was released on a $1 million bond and forced to wear a daily ankle monitor while fighting his case. Gigi was born in 1973, and he is 52. He got involved with the Chicago Outfit under Michael "Fat Mike" Sarno in 2007.

Despite being a very loyal associate for the former boss John "No Nose" DiFronzo and current boss Salvatore "Solly D" DeLaurentis, he had to wait a long time to get his button, which he finally received in 2022.

The reason behind the delayed induction is because he's a registered sex offender. Gigi was charged for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl when he was 17 in early 1991. Word on the street is he would've been made in the 2010s if it wasn't for that thing on his record. However, since he was underage at the time of the alleged rape, the Chicago Outfit decided to have him made in 2022. He was the last Chicago Outfit member to get made.

Alleged Genovese Family associate David "Big Dave" Domino with New York comedians Goumba Johnny (left) and Anthony Rodia (right). The woman is Domino's girlfriend, who also happens to be the daughter of the former Bonanno Family captain Dominick "Sonny Black" Napolitano.

According to mafia reporters Scott Burnstein and Dave Schratwieser, Domino is a member of the Bronx-based crew of Michael "Hippie" Zanfardino and acting captain Salvatore "Sally KO" Larca. Originally a Jersey guy, he was reportedly placed in the crew in 2019.

After the chat, Dominick asked George to go to a hotel room that Dominick's friend Ernie Coralluzzo was staying at, saying that there was a party there with hookers. Dominick also told him that he was going to pay him at the party. It was a trick to lure Keho into going to the hotel room. After getting Keho to the room, Dominick fatally shot him in the back of his head with a pistol.

February 17, 1989

Coralluzzo got arrested for the murder of George Keho by Fort Lauderdale Police. He snitched on Dominick while being questioned by detectives. Dominick was arrested four days later.

May of 1989

Dominick was sentenced to 17 months in prison for the murder. The reason that he got a light sentence was that his lawyer was able to convince the judge and everyone else that Cicale murdered Keho in self-defense.

October of 1990

Cicale was released from prison.

February of 1991

Dominick got arrested for selling cocaine.

May of 1991

Dominick was sentenced to ten years in the the feds.

June of 1994

A black inmate tried shaking down Dominick while he was doing time at USP Lewisburg, but the extortion attempt was canceled when the Philadelphia Family capo Joseph “Chickie” Ciancaglini stood up for Dominick by telling the blacks that Dominick was rolling with the Italian car and to leave him alone. Italians in the feds have their own car, but Italians in state prisons roll with the Peckerwoods.

May of 1999

Dominick was released from prison.

June 15, 1999

Dominick transferred to the Bonanno Family under capo Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano after Basciano had a meeting with the Genovese Family to ask them if they were comfortable with it. The Genovese Family agreed to let their associate join the Bonanno Family.

August of 1999

Bonanno Family member Vincent "Vinny TV" Badalamenti accused Dominick of being a rat while talking to Basciano at a coffee place in the Bronx. Basciano told Badalamenti that Dominick was all good. Basciano filled Dominick in about the interaction the next day. A sitdown was quickly arranged over this and a fight between Badalamenti and Cicale almost happened if Basciano didn't step between both of them.

February 15, 2001

Cicale and Basciano murdered Bonanno Family associate Frank Santoro for disrespecting Basciano's son. Mobster Anthony "Bruno" Indelicato was the getaway driver.

March of 2003

Cicale was inducted into the Bonanno Family.

April of 2003

Basciano made Cicale a captain just one month after Cicale was made.

April of 2004

Members of the Genovese Family told Basciano not to trust Cicale as they thought he was working for the feds. Basciano ignored the warning and told them that Cicale was a stand-up guy.

January of 2005

Cicale had a meeting where all the captains of the Bonanno Family went to his apartment in Pelham Bay. Not long after that, Cicale was arrested at his apartment on murder charges.

January of 2006

Dominick became an informant against Basciano, even though Basciano was the one who went to bat for him several times when other wiseguys told Basciano to not trust Dominick.

June of 2007

Cicale testified against Basciano in court.

January of 2012

Dominick was sentenced to ten years in prison, but for his cooperation with the federal government and for testifying, the judge gave him credit for the seven years that he had already served and shaved off time for good behavior, allowing him to be freed and enter the Witness Protection Program.

A picture of Genovese Family associate Freddy Geas

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝑮𝒆𝒂𝒔

Italians have a saying and it is "Una facia, una razza," which translates to "One face, one race." With that said, Southern Italians and Greeks share a Mediterranean appearance of olive skin and dark hair. Although Greeks are similar to Southern Italians, they can never become full members of Cosa Nostra, but Greek mobsters like the late Gus Alex of the Chicago Outfit or Fotios "Freddy" Geas of New England's crew of the Genovese Family get the respect of made men.

Geas was born on April 4, 1967 in Springfield, Massachusetts. His father left his mother when he was ten and his criminal career began not long after graduating from West Springfield High School in 1984. In 1986, he hit a Chinese man in the head with a broomstick in Springfield for throwing a rock at Freddy's car after the two of them got into an argument over a parking spot. Freddy pled guilty for assault and was sentenced to 3 months in jail. Freddy got married in May 1990. He met Springfield gangster Anthony Arillotta a month after getting married. Arillotta just became an associate of the Springfield crew of the Genovese Family at that time.

Freddy was sentenced to 4 years in prison for robbery in 1997. He was released from prison in 2000. He got involved with the Genovese Family after Arillotta got the okay from Springfield captain Adolfo "Big Al" Bruno to let him join the crew in March 2001. Bruno introduced Arillotta to the Genovese Family acting boss Arthur "Artie" Nigro in August 2002. Bruno asked Arillotta to whack a union official named Frank Dadabo for Nigro in February of 2003. After Arillotta spent time planning the hit with Freddy and his brother Ty, the three of them went to New York City to do the hit on May 19, 2003. While Arillotta was the getaway driver, Freddy and Ty walked up and shot Dadabo nine times as he was in his car that was parked in front of his house. Miraculously, the man survived the shooting.

Despite the fact that Arillotta failed to murder someone for the family, the shooting propelled Arillotta to a secret induction ceremony into the Genovese Family at a small apartment in the Bronx in August 2003. Arillotta had a local drug dealer named Gary Westerman whacked for being an informant on November 4, 2003. The Geas brothers did the actual shooting while Arillotta was the lookout guy, in the mountains in Southwestern Massachusetts.

Genovese Family associate Francesco "Frankie" Roche murdered Bruno on November 23, 2003. This murder happened after Nigro contacted Arillotta and told him to have Bruno whacked. Bruno had just been shelved by the Genovese Family after showing signs of being an informant for the FBI, even though there wasn't any proof to back up the accusation.

In January 2004, Arillotta became the captain of the Springfield crew. In February 2005, Roche was arrested for the murder of Bruno. In 2007, Freddy, Ty and Arillotta were arrested for the murder of Westerman and for the attempted murder of Dadabo after Roche became an informant. In 2010, Arillotta decided to become a rat by cooperating with authorities, and he told them everything. Arillotta testified against Freddy in March 2011. On September 12, 2011, Freddy was sentenced to life in prison. He was sent to USP Hazelton in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.

Freddy was involved in the fatal beating of Boston's notorious Irish American mobster James "Whitey" Bulger in his prison cell on October 30, 2018. Within 12 hours of Bulger arriving at USP Hazelton, Freddy and Massachusetts gangster Paul DeCologero entered Bulger's cell and beat the 89-year-old former mob boss to death. Prosecutors said that Freddy used a lock that was stuffed inside of a sock to repeatedly strike Bulger in the head while the two inmates beat him. Freddy hates rats, but he also hates men who hurt innocent women. Bulger was a rat and he also murdered ladies. The reason that Bulger wasn't placed in protective custody at USP Hazelton is because he said that he didn't need protection during his intake screening, even though he was an informant. Freddy was sent to ADX Florence in Colorado in September 2023.

A picture of Philadelphia Family underboss Steve "Handsome Stevie" Mazzone (middle) with associate Peter "Peter Pan" Tuccio (right). Read the article below this for more information.

This picture was taken in FCI Loretto in 2023, after Mazzone was sentenced to 5 years and Tuccio was sentenced to 10 years. Do you notice the way that Handsome Stevie is standing with the right side of his body leaning towards the inmate to his right, and not showing Tuccio any respect through his posture. There's a reason behind that.

There are quite a few people in the mob genre that continue to fantasize on mobsters like these guys, while making up lies about thier ranks in Cosa Nostra. For example, one person claimed Tuccio got his button in FCI Loretto in 2023.

Another person said Tuccio received his button just before going to FCI Loretto in March 2022. Those are complete and utter lies. In fact, there were two outlaw bikers who were in FCI Loretto with Mazzone and Tuccio who claim that there was a bit of chatter between the Italians in FCI Loretto about giving Tuccio his button, but that Handsome Stevie ruled against it and gave a logical reason. "We barely know the guy and it will take time for us to bring in new guys after that rat Persiano ratted us out," he said. Handsome Stevie also didn't like that Tuccio has some dirt on his name by other families, like the Luccheses and Gambinos. Tuccio is definitely a Philadelphia Family associate, but nothing more.

Former Irish American mobster John "Red" Shea

John "Red" Shea was born in a predominantly Irish section of Boston known as Southie for South Boston in 1965. In 1971, he got into boxing just before turning 6 years old, because the other kids in Southie would pick on him and attack him. In 1980, he met Whitey Bulger for the first time in the neighborhood. Whitey became the boss of the Winter Hill Gang three years earlier after the previous boss Howie Winter was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 1977. Later on, guys in the Winter Hill Gang figured out that Whitey ratted on Winter as a confidential informant for the FBI, which is why Winter went to prison for that long.

In March 1984, Red became a cocaine dealer after buying cocaine off of one of Whitey's guys. He would sell $20 sacks of cocaine after buying a gram. In October 1984, he decided to get cocaine from another source after earning enough money in dealing dope and boxing to buy an entire kilo in Florida. This was after he met a woman from Florida who had a connection to a cocaine supplier with stronger dope than Whitey's was. A kilo was only $20,000 in Florida at that time, which was much cheaper than buying a kilo in other states. In 1985, Red hooked up with Whitey's organization and became a member of the Winter Hill Gang. In 1990, he was arrested for selling large amounts of cocaine. In 1992, he went to federal prison for 12 years after being convicted. In 2002, he was released from prison and completely turned away from the mobster lifestyle. In 2006, his book Rat Bastards was published.

Chicago Outfit captain & leader of the Cicero Crew Michael "Fat Mike" Sarno. Then & now.

Chicago Outfit captain Michael "Fat Mike" Sarno has making moves to get out of federal prison. But refuses to ever cooperate to get out.

He originally got involved with the Outfit as an associate in 1982. The following year, he was arrested and charged with extortion. After being convicted, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison. He was released in late 1986. He became a made man sometime in 1989.

On February 7, 1990, Sarno was one of 20 Chicago mobsters pinched for being accused of being involved in illegal gambling, extortion and drug dealing. Sarno was jailed without bail, but luckily a judge permitted him to go free on bond a few months later in May. In 1993, he was convicted and sentenced to 6 1/2 years in federal prison. He was released in early 2000.

In 2007, he inherited mob boss Jimmy Marcello’s video poker operation after Jimmy went to prison. In 2012, he was sentenced to 25 years for blowing up his video gambling competitor. In 2016, Sarno's health began to tank.

Sarno, 68, has spent most of his adult life as a wiseguy. Known in his early Outfit years as “Fat Mike,” because of his obese appearance, in later years as his position in the Chicago Mob grew, Sarno’s nickname was changed to simply “The Large Guy.”

These days the suburban Outfit leader is struggling to survive prison due to arthritis and knee problems and has asked a U.S. District Court judge for mercy, to let him out early.
