Hi guys, I just had a massage while on vacation. I’ve been on the medication for a week and half so I know I’m still getting use to the meds. But I just had a massage and I had one shock but very uncomfortable tingling on my tongue and teeth. Has anyone had this experience? My nerves is calming down though. Just slowly

hi all again. been having a rough weekend. just pure tingling in my tongue causing flares in my nerves. i believe when i lay down its worst when im sitting up or standing up its better. i got my prescriptions today im taking 200 mg carbamazepine, 300mg of gabapentin, and 10 mg of baclofen.i may stop on the gabapentin but how long do you guys think it will take to kick in. i know im gonna have to suffer for a while but i leave for a trip on the weekend. hopefully the flight isnt bad.
Just had 3 flares back to back. Think it has to do with my tongue. Trying to sleep but scared i may swipe my tongue wrong in my sleep. It is also is a little tingly and my left side is numb. Any advice?
Hi, i just came back from the ER with possible diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia. they prescribed me carbamazepine for the pain. does anyone have experience with this drug? i’m only in my 20’s so this all very disheartening for me.
