Any thoughts or concerns on team fit?

I haven’t been able to sleep much last night because I’m obviously thrilled with our new team. I can’t stop thinking about how this team will operate as a unit. Is there any concern about the amount of talent on this roster being an issue?

LeBron and Maxey are the least of my concerns. Maxey played exceptionally well off the ball when Harden was running the offense. I believe he’d be more than willing to let LeBron run point-forward for 30 minutes a night. Plus, I like Maxey not having to worry about the offense and being strictly a scorer. LeBron is a Swiss Army knife; he can adapt to whatever role makes the team the most successful. He knew the roster beforehand and didn’t come here to be the offense. He came here because he wouldn’t have to be the whole offense.

I hope that Jojo is happy with all the new talent we have because it means he will have to do much less, and hopefully this means he is much more healthy. I don’t know if he’ll be okay being a cog in the new offense instead of the entire machine, but I think this new roster should benefit him. I think he just wants to win anyway; he wants this badly, enough to put his ego aside, hopefully.

My biggest question lies in Jaylen Brown. In my opinion, and I might be in the minority, I think JB is the best player on this team currently. He can do it all, offense and defense; he is an intelligent basketball player on and off the court. Will he be willing to take a backseat some nights as he did in Boston for years? He didn’t seem thrilled with the role he had at times. I think he has a chip on his shoulder and wants to win to prove a point, but this can be a double-edged sword.
