Thoughts on my romance novel plot and building anticipation

So I’m looking to write a novel where MC and FC meet each other at a destination wedding in Europe. They’ve been in and out of each other’s lives over the years but it’s the first time they’re in a place where they could be legitimately options for each other. Aside from kissing and fantasising what’s some ways I can build anticipation.

My last night in a country I lived in was quiet but magical.

I moved to Poland two years ago for work but the plan was to take the job for two years and then move onto someplace else. So anyway I was staying in a hotel my last night in Warsaw and decided to have dinner at a slightly nice place. Anyway I got to talking to this woman who was also dining alone at the next table about it and she said she hoped the next place would be even better and I got surprisingly emotional. I’ve never felt so free before in my life and like I could do anything I ever wanted.

How long to write a 75,000 word romance?

I want to publish with Harlequin afterglow. And I have some free time over the next three months. How much should I be writing a day and what kind of chapter count am I looking at. I’ve always imagined writing a book but I’ve never taken it seriously. Also any resources and advice about Harlequin afterglow would also really help.

Can I get some advice ?

I’m trying to write an age gap relationship novel. Except the girl’s the older one. They’re both adults when something happens although he’s had a thing for her since he was a teenager. She’s a friend’s older cousin. She’s a bit of a dork and the MCs been a bit of a horndog so his friend is not supportive. What are some dos and don’t s of this. She was never his baby sitter or maternal in any way just a girl he used to get a little gooey eyed over.
