Personal experience vs the specs

I finally got my bike (LSM) 6 months after ordering it. I'm already a little salty this thing took so long to get here, but after a day of riding it, the bike isn't even close to the advertised specs.

The bike advertised a 65km range at full throttle and 90km range for typical city use. I got about 40km out of it before the battery was basically dead and this was through areas with a 30-50km/h speed limit.

If you're thinking of buying one, also keep in mind the batteries lose voltage as they discharge. So while the bike might be nice and responsive at first, as your battery gets lower and lower the top speed and acceleration are going to plummet. Last few km of my 40km ride the bike struggled to get above 20km/h on flat ground.

I don't know if this was affecting the speed elsewhere in the ride but I couldn't get anywhere near the advertised 70km/h. I held the throttle down completely about half way through and I'd top out at slightly over 50km/h.

Don't know if this matches what anyone else has experienced or if it's something else. I am in 90 percentile for Canadian men in terms of height and weight, maybe I'm just too big for the bike.

Wait Times

I'm curious how long people have waited for their bike. I bought one 4 months ago and still haven't seen it, is this typical or have I been particularly unlucky.
