I'd love to get a sense for what hardware teams are doing in between product development cycles to move their company forward.

I'm working on a DIY project and want to try building a custom projector.

Has anyone here tried doing so?

Is there a way to do this using off the shelf parts? Or perhaps, disassembling a projector for parts?

I'm pretty technical but not familiar with projector tech so would love any feedback from the community.
