Using a Brother ScanNCut SDX125 to make a custom masking tape (or stencil) for painting Amuro Ray's symbol on the base.

The Nail Polishes are from a brazilian brand called Impala but I believe there are other brands doing the same thing, thermochromic paints or nail polishes, worldwide

I used Gaia Notes EX-10 Matt on the 2 pieces on the left and EX-03 Gloss on the right

Update: I used amyl acetate (or isoamyl acetate) to thin down the nail polish for airbrushing, since it comes really thick in the bottle. Roughly 3 parts nail polish to 1 part amyl acetate (over here in Brazil it's called "banana oil" because it smells like bananas)

Not painted, I just applied water decals and top coat
