As the title says, they are back with 1% APY boost as of today (7/1/2026) for a total of (3.40 + 1) 4.40% APY.
Refer up to 5 people and term is 3 months for each referral.

Referrals are queued and applied consecutively.

So refer 4 people and you get +1.00% APY boost (3.40% base → 4.40%) for 1 year (assuming base APY remains unchanged).

This is basically higher than almost all HYSA and CD's rates today.

Once one of your 3-month boosts expires, a slot frees up and you can refer again to queue another one.
There is no hard lifetime cap or calendar-year cap mentioned in the new terms.
