First Atabey, Exactly Cuban
Ritos, this has to be Cuban tobacco. It tastes exactly like a Cuban Cohiba. Fantastic stick & the best light cigar I’ve ever had

Signature vitola. Nicely surprised by this stick, brings out the sweetness I like in the maduro, with a spice I’d describe as “darker”. Harder to find of the Hways but worth a shot if you like the maduro
As I’m sure no one is surprised, the OpusX 25th Anniversary Churchill is not only a very good cigar, but a really great Opus. It takes everything great about the core blends & ramps up the blend to make it sweeter, with fruit, wood, & nuts over a flavorful but smooth spice. Wonderful cigar… if you can ever find it
Happy Fuente Friday everyone, OpusX 25th Anniversary El Tributo x2, PerfecXion No. 2, Robusto, & 888 (smoked) I grabbed from the event. Can’t wait to smoke these as I haven’t tried the 25th yet, nor these Opus Vitolas
Started off as a total pepper bomb which had me worried, but mellowed out into a delicious chocolate & earth. It’s not as good as the 1964 or 50th but probably the third best Padron for me overall
ForbiddenX 13 Pasion D’Amor. Previously liked the Oro Oscuro Dbl Robusto the most, but really enjoying how the aging/fermentation on this one brings out the smooth sweetness I like in Opus/Fuente. The more I smoke these the 13s the more I like them as my top pick over the Core & OXO lines
Very very good stick, the age on this one really brought out more of the fruit flavors in the Opus blend, which I really like. Much better profile than the 2017 Lancero I smoked
Happy Fuente Friday! Collection exclusive from ~2021, wow. I think the ForbiddenX 13 is becoming my new favorite Opus line over Oro Oscuro
Herrera Esteli Maduro, fantastic Nicaraguan stick with a hit of Brazilian chocolate from the binder. Very good for the price. With this & the Fuente 858 Maduro you can smoke Padron & OpusX all day everyday
A harder to find size that did not disappoint, I’m a fan of the smaller Ring Gauge core OpusX so this did well for me. Gorgeous look with the pigtail & nearly 10 years of age was also quite nice
Reserva D’Chateau, enjoying with some coffee. A bit too light for me but wonderful flavors of sweet, raisin, & a bit of caramel
Deseos D’Amor, one of the first Opus lines I smoked. Fantastic stick, essentially an aged OpusX, where the Oro Oscuro is a fermented+aged Opus
30 years, very Honduran flavor, an earthy spice
Oro Oscuro Double Robusto, top 3 cigars I keep coming back to
