How do you position your monitor screens?

I recently realized my monitor is way too close to my face because my desk depth is terrible. I mostly play RPGs and slower single-player games, so I can easily sit there for 4 or 5 hours without moving much. By the end of it, my upper back feels cooked and I keep catching myself leaning toward the screen during darker scenes.

I’ve been experimenting with a clamp-on desk shelf to push the monitor farther back and it actually helped a ton. It made me realize that fixed setups are probably the issue, so I'm looking into monitor arms or even something dynamic like the automated robotic arms to help keep things moving while I play.

Do you guys mostly leave your screens fixed in one position, or are you constantly adjusting them? Curious what setups actually leave you feeling normal after a long session.

I'm been going through a rough patch in life lately so I'm looking for some hobbies that can help me stay away from all the stress. Hopefully its going to be for a short time and I'll be able to feel better soon but I still want to try to keep myself as busy as I can.
So I was wandering if you guys can suggest me some of your go to hobbies which usually help you all feel at ease? Anything that can help me during this time and which is not too heavy on the pockets, please cause that might increase this stress thing.
