I want to preface that I have never watched a Play before, maybe once as child. Plays and Theatre in general is really not a big thing where I come from, and the ones I have found seem to be more closed student events, or not really what I would be into, at least at first glance.

I have got an interest lately because I noticed that most actors that I enjoy in movies or tv shows seem to have a big theatre background or actively also do plays.

Is there good sites to watch plays online? I dont mind paying a bit if its subscription based, but i would prefer if its revenue that reaches the artists. I would also love if you could recommend what to watch. Besides the big shakespeare ones, i dont have any idea where to start.
