Hey guys
I'm looking for ways to manage the brown algae in my 240-liter tank. I just did a full cleaning and gravel vac last week, but for some reason, it keeps coming right back.
Any advice on how to get rid of it for good? Thanks!
Refer to video. The tank is located next to a window and the tank light never gets turned on.
Just got a Tunze Turbelle Nanostream 6045 wavemaker.
[1500-4500 L/h]
However I am unsure of the placement and unsure if it's too strong for my 240L. (See short video clip: wavemaker set at lowest setting, fish in video on the left side of my tank.)
Placement:
OUTPUT (LEFT SIDE): I have a spray bar on the left side of my tank, out flow across the top flowing towards the right side.
INTAKE (RIGHT SIDE)
I PLACED THE WAVEMAKER ON THE RIGHT SIDE, AIMED DOWNWARD AND OUT TOWARD THE FRONT glass.
What do you all think? Worng place? Too Strong? Advice wanted.
Found this old tank for free on eBay, thought I would give this hobby another shot. Now I'm sucked in. Looking for another tank.
