Interesting Thing I Learned About Executive Hiring

I recently learned that executive hiring is often less about finding the most qualified person on paper and more about finding someone who fits the company's long-term goals, leadership style, and culture. Technical skills and experience matter, but things like strategic thinking, communication, and the ability to lead through change can make an even bigger difference.

For those involved in executive hiring has that been your experience? What do you think is the most important quality in a great executive?
