This is a VERY hot take. But I just don’t think this team is talented enough to beat a team like the Knicks, let alone a team that comes from out West. We can try to blame Kenny as much as we want, but the past 2 years (and potentially this year, I hope I’m wrong though), with JB and Kenny, we have always lost to a team that has made the Finals.

Fans want to cycle thru another coach to find a Rick Carlisle or Eric Spo on the market. It’s much easier to retool this roster than to hope a guy like Jason Kidd or some random assistant coach can be an elite coach like a Spo or Carlisle.
