Question about PDF metadata after cloud sync

Hi folks - quick one for anyone using the Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive sync on Supernote.

Two things I'm trying to figure out:

  1. When a note syncs to your cloud folder, does the file's modification date get reset to "now" each time the note is updated and re-synced?

  2. If you open the PDF and check its properties (Adobe Reader, File - Properties, or `pdfinfo` if you're terminal-inclined), does it have a real CreationDate inside, or is that field missing?

Context: I'm working on Penlo, a tool that manages handwritten notes from e-ink tablets (OCR, search, export, etc). With (an alternative device I cannot mention here, lol), the dates get overwritten on every sync, which breaks chronological sorting. Want to confirm whether Supernote has the same quirk before assuming.

If one or two of you could check, that'd be massively helpful. Thanks!

Anyone using Connect's cloud integrations - quick metadata question

Hey all - question for anyone using reMarkable Connect with the Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive integration.

When you upload a notebook from your reMarkable to one of those (long-press a file in My Files, choose Upload), and then later upload it again after making changes - does the file's modification date in the cloud get bumped to "now"? And if you open the resulting PDF and check its properties (Adobe Reader, File - Properties), does it have a real CreationDate inside, or is that field missing/wrong?

Reason I'm asking: I'm building a small tool called Penlo that organises handwritten notes from e-ink tablets (OCR, search, export to Notion/Obsidian, that kind of thing). On Boox the dates get overwritten on every sync so chronological sorting breaks. Trying to figure out if reMarkable has the same problem before assuming it does.

If one or two of you wouldn't mind checking, that'd be really helpful. Thanks!
