Alaskan Cruise on Disney Wonder
My husband and two boys (22,19) just got back from a Disney Alaskan Cruise on Monday. We were on the starboard side room 6566 and my boys were in an inside cabin, 6019. The weather was amazing! We were able to see Dawes glacier in Endicott Arm perfectly from our veranda on Glacier Day (see pic)! We did the adult train ride in Skagway. Such amazing views! Whale watching and Mendenhall glacier in Juneau. Several whale sightings while on the water, and again, spectacular 360 views. Finally, in Ketchikan, we went to the Lumberjack show which featured Goofy. Definitely very kid oriented. We left half way through. We did go to Palo brunch, which had the best food overall during the entire cruise. Order the lasagna. Or better yet, order two! Food in the dining rooms and Cabanas was just okay. Churro waffles were offered twice, so that was a win! Lots of trivia and since it was not terribly cold, we were able to spend time in the adult area and watched movies on Funnel Vision. Characters were out many times, including Bluey and Bingo. Pics with the Characters on deck 10 was a highlight on Glacier Day. One photo per family. Many families did use the pool(s) and hot tubs. Overall, the trip was fantastic! We are Platinum (this cruise was #16 for my husband and me, and # 13 for our boys), so feel free to ask any questions! Happy sailing to all who are counting down the days to their next cruise!
