I got offers from HKU and The University of Edinburgh for studying Chemistry, but I don’t know which one to choose. HKU is a lot closer to where I live, it’ll be cheaper, and it has a higher rank than UoE. However, I do look forward to the new experiences in UoE as it means I get to become more independent and grow more as a person. I wonder if both unis have the same level of prestige, and what it’ll mean for my future career. So anyone who has similar experiences or are currently studying chemistry in my respective unis, PLEASE let me know 😭 I need to make this decision within today…

also, if I decide on UoE, I can choose between year 1 and 2. So wondering if anyone has any suggestions too thanks!
