My 2nd build. Very cute and came together quickly - although I have realised I need to get some markers and get into edge painting.

My first nook and I'm obsessed (and have already accumulated a backlog)! I made some minor modifications, basically to turn it into a Gryffindor common room:

• changed most of the wall paintings, incl. the one above the fireplace
• exchanged the owl in front of the fireplace with a flying key
• modified the snitch holder
• painted the triangular banners above the mantlepiece red with a golden G and exchanged the hanging on the the top right back wall for a Gryffindor banner
• painted the invisibility cloak silver and hat black
• changed the location of some pieces like newspaper basket, magic wand
• added a chessboard and some leftover books on the cupboard in front and changed placement of some pieces (scrolls, magic wand)
