This feels something extremely important to be brought forth considering a whole new batch joining in, actively being misled by false narratives and bent opinions on a so called "Helpdesk". This isn't some post which means to deviate students from IIT Patna to others, or any other reason. All It is meant for is to establish why you shouldn't believe blind facts, and watch the ground reality of the grave situation us past JEE qualified students have to face in an Institution of this stature.

1-> Rampant Admin Corruption - As it might have most probably already occurred to you via several media channels, most prominently "Nishkarsh Bharat", IIT Patna faces several issues in it's admin, most significant one being the extremely corrupt and immoral Director and Registrar TNS and AKT, with several serious corruption charges against them; Very evident from their current activities at iitp too.

2-> Dead Student Resources - Extremely fucked situation for food outlets here. There are only majorly 4 outlets left, Food Court , Angeethi (Night Canteen), GHExt Cafe and Nescafe. You obviously cant have fulfilling meals at Nescafe, and the hygeine at Food Court and Angeethi is so subpar there have been actual reports of people getting sick, not so often but even a single case should be enough to provoke action when here multiple have took place. The only outlet functioning properly is Ghext just because it's run by our director's near and dear friend. (Yay corruption again). Another fact not even worth mentioning is how cheap food is in other iit's and how much we have to spend just for basic necessities.

3-> Even after being aware of such instances, spending a year or even more in such circumstances some people cannot drop their so called "Helpful Seniors" act on the counselling group when they know how stretched and manipulative their opinions yet are.
3 year old GPT based college comparision pdfs? Hiding the scale at what things are wrong here? Kicking people and Deleting messages when they ask something valid parents and children will obviously be in distress after seeing. This is not a social media handle for you and your friends to put on the good guy act by bootlicking and gain popularity between the seniors. You are accountable for the lives and careers of the brightest minds of this country incoming, and equally accountable will you be for your plain attempts of hiding the truth by shrugging of major issues by "It's slightly bad here" and "Everything wrong here is because people think its bihar".
And Finally For the Juniors reading this,
This post is not to scare you off. This post is not to tell you "Yaha mat aana kabhi". Even after all the shortcomings we are still a very solid college academically and culturally. All I want you to become is aware of your surroundings, and question all the sugarcoated lies you are fed by your so called bhaiyas and didis. If you dont question today, you wont have the power to hold them accountable when you face the struggles of this college tommorow.
