I've just set up a 30L shrimp tank with a few cherry shrimp in it and some java moss and java fern. I noticed one of the shrimp seems to have these little worm-like things attached to its shell. It's a bit hard to see in the video, but they're waving around by its back leg. I was thinking to do a salt dip, but wanted a second opinion first. I'm new to shrimp keeping, so I'm not sure of the best approach. Can anyone identify this parasite and advise? Thank you in advance!
