Growing Herbs

Were growing herbs in a planter we made, but we put the whole pack of seeds in. Is that ok? Or do we only need a couple of plants?

Newby first sprouts!

Very happy to see some sprouts finally breaking through. I was starting to worry! First time allotment building at the bottom of my garden.

Dragons Blood.

Bought some Dragons Blood out of curiosity to try. Any one else tried the resin? To me, it smells like an Engine room or mechanics work shop. Not very nice on its own. Although I imagine it blends quite well with other things.

Diluting essential oils

Not perfume related. But what percentage would you generally dilute an essential oil to use in a warmer?

I use resins and woods and recently bought some essential oil to mix in, but the scent overpowers everything else.

I was thinking 10%?

Yes?

How do we think this will do on a resin warmer? Only one way to find out.

I have some pure vanilla powder as well to mix in.

Any suggestions on good places to find top soil? I have a few big beds to fill but dont fancy paying 5er a bag for loads of bags if I can get it for free some place. Fields, woodlands, farmers fields? I live out in the country so im surrounded by it, but dont really know if its safe to use.

Going to turn the grass over tomorrow, top up with top soil and compost. Bone meal in. Then get sowing. Does this sound ok? Any tips?

Im looking to start a little allotment area in my garden. Maybe growing some veggies to start with or what ever is appropriate. The picture is not ideal, but you get the idea. My garden is big, and mostly grass, so was going to start in the bottom corner next to the fence.

Any suggestions on how to actually start? Im not sure. Make rows, dig up grass and buy compost to put down?

Any help would he greatly appreciated.
