CSI Summer Session Credit Limit?
Hey all, planning to take two classes at CSI this summer as a visiting student and I’ve reached a weird snag in the CUNYFirst system. So, I’m already registered for the summer session of ECO 112 (which is 4 week session 2 in July and a 4 credit class). I wanted to add PHY 156 (which is also 4 week session 2 in July and a 4 credit class).
However, the system will not allow me to register for the second class as it says “You are unable to add this class at this time. Adding this class would exceed your course limit for this session.”
I am aware of the 8 credit limit CSI has for the summer session, but these two classes combined would bring me to the 8 credits, not go above it. Are you not allowed to take two classes in summer session 2 (that is to say, the 8 credits must be spread out and NOT at the same time) or is this a system error? Thanks!
