Is this AI?
^(I don't really know much about animation, but I've seen people say that this is AI?)
Phantom Siita's "retro horror" concept lately seems like anything but "retro horror." :c
This isn't hate or anything like that; it's just a critique of the Phantom Siita concept and the creative producers..............Phantom Siita's team is doing everything *except* addressing the controversy surrounding the "Horror Queen" music video... honestly, I'm pretty sure their next release will be just as bad as—or worse than—"Horror Queen" (obviously, this has nothing to do with the girls themselves; they have no say in the matter other than being the faces of the group). I really miss well-produced songs that stayed true to their original concept—tracks like "Kimibatsu Hanagatami" and "Suki Kirai." I hate to be the one to say it, but Phantom Siita's "retro horror" concept has been going downhill ever since Sui left the group; they’re drifting further away from that identity to fit the mold of typical cute, sweet idols. It makes me sad because I used to love their old concept so much. Since mid-2025, I haven't been able to listen to their songs without feeling like someone is playing a prank on them by altering their concept so drastically. I’m not demanding they speak out about this—clearly, they’ll remain who they are regardless of whether there’s an apology—but I would really appreciate it if the producers took a hard look at this constant need to change their concept just to fit in and gain popularity. The girls don't need to conform to stand out or be unique; being a "retro horror" group is already distinctive enough to set them apart(I know I’ll get a lot of downvotes because there are people who don’t even care what happens as long as the girls keep releasing music—and I respect that, since it’s your choice—but I would appreciate it if you respected mine).
horror queen mv and the excessive use of AI and poor quality CGI
I’m honestly so disappointed in the Horror Queen music video. The song, the outfits, and the concept are all so good, and the first thing I thought when I saw them was, 'The MV is gonna be incredible, they’re definitely gonna shoot it somewhere like a castle or a palace, like Rose Colored Moon.' But god... I’m not even against using a lot of green screen because we’ve already seen that in MVs like Noah, Zoku Zoku, and Conflicting, but using AI and low-quality CGI is a whole new level of bad... We’ve literally had MVs as amazing as Suki Kirari, Bot Bakka, Kimibatsu, Devilish Girl, and Hanagatami, just to end up with this MV??
I’m positive they did it either to save money or because they were in a huge rush to put out a song. And this isn't hate toward the girls at all—I love them so much, and I’m just sad that they can’t show 100% of their talent in these kinds of MVs. Even the dance shots were so bad because of the terrible green screen and unnecessary zooms.
I’m so confused because we all know Ado does not support the use of AI at all, yet now she’s letting them use AI in Phantom Siita's video... This is just so ironic and confusing. How do you not support AI but then let them use it in the music video of the idols you literally produce and manage? This is more of a critique toward the MV directors and editors because the AI and cheap CGI are so obvious to the naked eye. I never expected something like this. I just want Phantom Siita's team to realize how many people are disappointed in this MV and to never do something like this to the girls again. They have nothing to do with any of this, and I don't want to see anyone on X or TikTok throwing hate at them because of the people who decided to make this MV.
