Why don't I see anyone talking about XOS (xylooligosaccharides)?
Why don't I see anyone talking about XOS (xylooligosaccharides)?
This fiber is truly selective. It only feeds Bifidobacterium (the main consumers), Bacteroides, some Lactobacillus, and Weissella (a type of "sister" bacteria to lactobacilli).
I think almost everyone with dysbiosis issues has depleted bifido, and yet I don't see anyone talking about this fiber.
Unlike PHGG and acacia gum, which feed Klebsiella and E. coli, XOS is the real selective fiber.
XOS + a bifido probiotic was a game changer for me.
Has it been a game changer for anyone else here?
