Sorceress Ascendant, Chapter 12
Hi everyone!
In an effort to actually promote my fic, I want to say I've just posted chapter 12 of a long-form fem!Harry fic, Sorceress Ascendant!
It's fem!Harry in a world where the Dursleys being nice to her and Dumbledore being a competent, if sometimes failing, headmaster are balanced out by the pressures put on young Lucy Potter by her discovering she's more than just a witch- she's a sorceress, an individual with magical traits independent of an ability to cast spells like any old wizard. But what exactly does that mean for her?
As Lucy returns to her second year at Hogwarts, she starts hearing weird voices the same time that the castle is attacked by a mysterious, paralyzing force that everyone swears is connected to Salazar Slytherin. Her best friend Hermione tries to deal with her rapidly accelerating magical prowess while fearing for her life as an outspoken, talented muggleborn. And something seems to be very wrong with their friend Daphne Greengrass.
The fic is updated regularly, and I currently have up to chapter 21 written, with no sign of slowing down! Give it a read, or don't, and please be nice!

It’d be so much effort to change it now. But I don’t think it’s that bad, really. In fact, I think it’s good. Honest.
