Anyone have occasional pelvic pain after Barbie butt surgery?

Had Barbie butt surgery about 2 months ago and occasionally have this pelvic cramping... Feels like period cramps but worse. Lile everything is all cramped up and I need to take Tylenol or Advil.. I can't seem to pinpoint what causes it.

Does anyone else get this or have any insight into what might be happening internally to cause this? I know I did some lifting (moving heavy boxes yesterday) but other times I've had the pain I haven't been able to pinpoint why. Curious others experiences or if this could be a normal part of the healing process.

I have pelvic physio in another week so will ask more questions, but curious if anyone experiences this and/or if it lessened with time.

I've been pondering this notion of gut health and the microbiome. When you don't have a colon, how is your microbiome affected? I imagine that the small intestine is housing all your gut bacteria, but would we still follow all the same guidance about having a healthy gut microbiome?

Do we now have drastically less gut bacteria and therefore do we need to take different measures to ensure healthy gut?

I used to care so much about my gut health for digestion, but now that I have an ileostomy that is not a concern to me. I moreso want to have as much energy as possible and feel overall healthy and vital.

Just curious if anyone understands the science behind what is different now for our bodies and gut health. If anyone can explain this.. My doctor says the extent of needing more nutrients and fluids, but that's about it. I'm really curious to understand on a deeper level how our bodies are different now and how out gut microbiome is affected.

Thank you!!
