I'm 15% in and... well honestly the worldbuilding has been a bit too elementary for my likings (Earth people vs Sea people), the FMC seems so oblivious and immature...is the world building good or it's just tropey as they say. Also i really don't like Kai and Messer, like...are there gonna be other interesting side characters?

Will it delve into a bigger political scale? So far it has been very surface level and it's hard for me to grasp the seriousness between the two factions devide if it doesn't actually discuss it...does it get as brutal as it says it is???
