With the new season of Married at First Sight premiering this Sunday, July 12, and new episodes dropping in batches every Thursday, we wanted to give a shoutout to r/MAFS_Peacock, a brand-new community dedicated to the show.

If you're new to MAFS, it's exactly what it sounds like: strangers meet for the first time at the altar, legally get married, move in together, and after 8 weeks decide whether to stay together or part ways. The series is produced by Kinetic Content, the same company behind Love Is Blind, so if you're a LIB fan, you'll probably enjoy MAFS too.

For longtime fans, this season marks a fresh start. The show has moved to Peacock and is introducing a revamped format inspired by the UK and Australian versions, including weekly dinner parties where all the couples come together to discuss the week's events, confront one another, and react to the drama as a group. It's a much more interactive format that many fans have been hoping the U.S. version would adopt.
