I am looking for a fanfiction which is historically accurate and set in the 1640s. 50 years before the Statute of Secrecy. It’s the peak of the witch-hunts in England and the English Civil War.
How do you name your Pureblood characters? Do you look up historic names, rare names of the applicable culture? Make up your own.
I m currently trying to name a few Pureblood characters and this is what I struggle with a lot, finding names appropriate for their situation:
- Pureblood
- Aristocratic
- Culture and Era differences.
What methods do you use to find good and fitting names?
On July 12th 1991 in the early evening hours the body of 10 year old Harry Potter is found in an alleyway in Little Whinging. The cause of death is mundane. The police start an investigation and while the Dursleys are not guilty of murder, Vernon and Petunia are arrested and charged with child abuse and neglect. Dudley is put in Foster care.
Is there a fanfiction about a psychopathic Muggleborn student in Slytherin? And I mean a realistic depiction, not a cartoonish caricature.
Preferably during Harry’s time to really upend the Slytherin way of life.
