Earning the trust of a tiny pregnant kitty
My tiny back garden is a haven for all the neighborhood strays and all sorts of urban wildlife, and this little sweetie started hanging around a few weeks ago.
She was obviously pregnant, and I was worried about her safety around our gangs of marauding raccoons, so I set about earning her trust. I was calm and moved very slowly, and let her set the pace. It helped that she is very food motivated
Two days ago, I finally lured her into my house, with a trail of cat treats.
She’s turned into a total love, and kittens are due any second. Wish us all luck.
