Honestly, I underestimated how beneficial it is to write in a journal.
I really have bad memory and I fear that I might forget important memories so I decided to keep a journal. Now, I have something to look back on when I feel like going down the memory lane.
This notebook contains so much of my thoughts, events that made me laugh, cry, ponder, and so many more.
For my next journal, i want to be more consistent. I just need to remember that there’s always something to write about no matter how mundane 🥹
I was contemplating on getting the xteink bc of the size but decided against it when I saw this mini up for sale on FB marketplace. Bought this baby for $20 CAD and replaced the battery for $30. Seeing how this is already a discontinued tech, it makes it more valuable to me (and the size is so cute!)
This sub has been so helpful with making this mini functional and like brand new 💕 it’s slower than my kobo bw but it’s still good.
I am so happy to officially announce I’m a kobo girlie now!
To be transparent, I’ve had this Kobo BW since beginning of 2025 bc I have a discount from work, and I really wanted to move away from subscriptions so why not get it?
The thing is, I didn’t fully immerse myself with this e-reader until around April this year because I really had a hard time moving away from my kindle (it’s a birthday gift too so it’s very sentimental and I love reading indie authors on KU) And my oh my I didn’t expect to be so obsessed after giving this kobo a try again.
So far, I’ve read around 10 books since April. I really love how intuitive it is (like how I can just slide the left side to adjust brightness)
And the wallpapers!? Omg I can make my own wallpapers??? That really sold me lol
Anyways, I just want to post it here because I’ve been lurking and I’m just so excited and happy with this e-reader.
She holds still when I ask her to focus on me, and I didnt expect she’ll sit still with treat on her head and snout lol it’s such a fun trick 😆
I’ve seen corgis IRL and on this sub and i know some come in all loafy shapes and sizes, but my pup seems to be mixed (haven’t done a dna test yet but will do when the budget allows lol)
She definitely has the length of a corgi but her legs are a little longer than what I’ve seen around here. Her face is a little small and she looks really slim for a typical corgi.
But despite all that, I still love her with all my heart! She’s a little rascal but she makes me so happy 🥹
Edit: Didn't expect to get so much validation!! Looks like the athletic, sporty-build corgis exist haha. Thanks ya'll! will definitely get a DNA test at some point just to confirm. If any of ya'll are wondering, she is a spunky little 8-month-old puppy 😆
