It’s interesting because with Lex I think people tend to like him and even hold onto the potential goodness inside him from the early seasons. With Lana I think she was never all that great to viewers, so it’s easier to dislike her once she goes off the rails. Chloe seems to be somewhere in the middle because she’s amazing right after finding out Clark’s secret, but from season 8 onward she also goes down a darker path and never really recovered for some of us.
