Fiddler’s Green Best Seated View

Long shot post but it appears fiddlers green doesn’t have it own Reddit. Long story long, my SO loves Mt. Joy and I got her pit tickets for the show tonight, bought 8 months ago. SO had surgery three weeks ago and can barely walk or stand. I’m determined to have her see her favorite band. Fiddler’s Green, AXS, and Vividseats are all refusing to help exchange our pit tickets for ADA tickets. I’m prepared to sell our pit tickets and try to find seats where she could stay seated and see the show well. There is no way we can make the lawn work in her condition. Any advice on what section, row, etc., that she is likely to be able to see the stage while seated (even if other people is the section are standing) would be super helpful. Thank you

Seeking design ideas for semi-permanent large bushcraft shelter for four people

Hi All,

I’m seeking design ideas and photos for a large lean-to or alternative shelter. Scenario: I own a small 10 acre private inholding within National Forest and 4 of us are going to spend a month hunting in that area, in weeklong chunks. We can do whatever we want short of digging a foundation and building an actual cabin (could do that with proper permitting etc.) I’d like this to be semi-permanent in the sense that it could be used for a few years, then taken down and rebuilt if desired. Essentially, I’d like something that 4 grown men could build in one 10 hours work day. Perhaps some extra hours to refine over the month. Weather will likely be 50-80 degrees with a strong chance of rainstorms. Lots of dead trees to use. Technically I would have the right to fell live trees within my inholding, but I likely will not, unless there is a perfect spot with one or two in the way. Requirements are: would like to be able to stand in at least 2/3s of the shelter, have room for four to both sleep, cook, and sit. I’ve already built bushcraft chairs up there with a low table. No open live fires because of a fire ban (we’re usually too tired to try to build one anyway). That being said, I might work on a little chimney or pit for use in later years, so welcome any designs that fit one in. We have to hike in 6 miles so can only carry what’s on our backs. I will have saws, wood augers, paracord, hatchets, heavy duty zip ties, and other items to help. Open to ideas. Thanks.
