Scar on chin - almost 3 year old - i feel it has made my face lopsided - need help!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice on a scar on my chin that I’ve been trying to improve for quite a while now.
So far, I’ve had:
-Microneedling treatments
- Laser treatments
- Intermittent use of silicone gel
Despite all of this, I feel like the scar has actually become more noticeable over time rather than improving. I also feel my smile has become lopsided. It bears very heavy on my mind and im not able to look past it. Its the only thing i notice on my face and i feel its for other people too but they just dont say it.
I’m wondering:
Are there any treatment options I haven’t explored yet?
Are there specific lasers, fillers, subcision, steroid injections, or other treatments that might help depending on the scar type?
Is inconsistent silicone gel use likely to have made much difference at this stage?
I’d really appreciate any insights from people who have dealt with similar scars or from professionals familiar with scar treatments.
