rejected from local uni
helloo!
i just graduated from poly with an ecde diploma and a cgpa of 3.23 (which is not good). i’m planning to get out of this sector because it’s not really my thing, so when I applied to local unis (SIT and NTU), i didn’t apply for courses related to the ecde field. unfortunately, i got rejected by both unis so right now i’m considering either taking a gap year and reapplying next year, or applying to universities overseas.
the main concerns i have are:
- not knowing what to study (like business, science, engineering, IT related etc)
- hence, being lost about what to do during a gap year.
- there’s a chance of still being unable to get into a local uni after gap year so i’ll “waste another year” ..
- i’m also unsure whether I can handle going somewhere far away from home if i’m studying abroad as well as the tuition fees..
anyone has any similar experience as me hahaha
any advice would be greatly appreciated!
