TLC management bedbug infestation
I moved recently and found bugs within 48 hours. Asked to terminate my lease and be refunded and they gave me a temporary new unit to try to move most of my stuff. I am super busy rn so I moved most stuff but still have both places. I got written proof that they agreed to pay me back and now they want to charge me prorated rent, meaning I only get back what I don’t stay here for. All of my stuff is in boxes, I am sleeping on the floor and my body is covered in bites. They’re offering free laundry and try to help me look for new places. Am I stupid or is this literally insane???? How do I go about this? Anyone else have similar experiences? I need to stay here for at least till the end of June because I am so busy I can’t look for anything but also do not want to pay them for a storage unit basically because I am sleep in on the floor and my clothes are in a different unit probably covered in bugs. Help
