To the AP Lang readers out there: if a prompt asks students to evaluate the value of something, but the student instead argues why that thing is beneficial without explicitly discussing its “value,” would that be considered off-topic or capped in score? Or would the value still be considered implied through the argument and line of reasoning?

Hey yall! My economics teacher said that the ap graders give you partial points (0.5) etc, for partially correct FRQ portions. All the ap exams i’ve taken before are 1 or 0, so i was wondering if economics was a different case?
