Looking for real SEO help: our website has been declining after every Google update
Hi everyone,
I work for a company in the education niche, and we are looking for real SEO help with one of our websites.
For more than a year now, we have been seeing a steady decline in traffic and impressions, month after month, especially after each Google update. The screenshot attached shows the trend over the last 16 months, so you can get a clearer picture of what has been happening.
The main issue is that we do not currently have a strong SEO specialist in-house. Over the past year, different people have worked on the project, but honestly, many of the changes created more problems than solutions.
The website is in Spanish and is focused on the Argentine market. It has been around for several years and has a large amount of content. Some of that content was probably created with AI by people who worked here before, and a lot of it may not have been created or optimized properly from an SEO perspective.
We are not looking for a magic solution or someone promising to recover everything in two weeks. What we need is someone with real experience who can perform a serious SEO audit, identify the main issues, and help us build a clear action plan to recover organic visibility.
Of course, this is a paid project. We are looking to hire someone first for an audit, and if it makes sense for both sides, we would also like to continue working together on the implementation of the recommended improvements.
This is only one of the websites we manage, but the situation is very similar across other projects, so this could potentially become a larger collaboration if we find the right person.
We are especially interested in someone who can help us review:
- Old, duplicated, low-quality, or AI-generated content.
- Technical SEO issues.
- Site structure and content architecture.
- Traffic losses related to Google updates.
- A strategy to recover authority and organic rankings.
- A clear prioritization of actions based on real impact.
If anyone has experience with this kind of situation, or can recommend a serious SEO specialist, I would really appreciate it.
We would also appreciate any advice on what to look at first or what mistakes to avoid before making more changes without a clear strategy.
Feel free to send me a private message with similar cases you have worked on, your experience, and a general idea of how you would approach an audit like this.
Thanks in advance.
