Gym routine advice
Hi everyone,
I'm going to start going to the gym this week and was hoping to get some feedback on the routine I will be doing.
For context, I'm hoping to start by both losing weight and gaining muscle. I'm 30s, M, 85KG. I plan to be in a calorie deficit, consuming approx. 1700kcal.
I'll be going 3 days per week, full body workout every session, alternating between A and B. (Although they are very similar).
Most of the exercises are on machine due to confidence levels, but can certainly be changed if not ideal.
5min warmup e.g. treadmill/bike
Leg Press 3x12
Romanian Deadlift 2x12
Seated Leg Curl 3x12
Standing Calf Raise 3x12
Chest Press 3x12
Shoulder Press 2x12
Lat Pulldown (A), Seated Cable Row (B) 3x12
Lat Raise 2x12
Rear Delt Fly 2x12
Bicep Curl 2x12
Tricep Pushdown 2x12
Farmers Carries 2-3 30-45secs
Wrist Curls 2x15
Reverse Wrist Curls 2x15
Ab Machine (A), Pallof Press (B) 2x12
Hanging Knee Raises (A), Reverse Crunch (B) 2x12
