Rejected from Coast Guard for MH history—how do I become a Civilian Electronics Technician at 19?

Hello I am 19 years old and curious about the different opportunities and ways to become a Electronics Technician. So I tried to become one in the US Coast Guard but I was sadly rejected for Mental Health history. Now in the Civilian world I was curious on any good way I could become one and find a good career in it. I have always been interested in Tech and Devices I used to take Devices apart like a old PS2 or DS and do repairs and modifying . My dad who runs a networking service has had me help him around setting it up in dental offices as well and I imagine some roles would be similar to that. To wrap this up I would like to know how much Industries would hire a ET whether it be Telecommunications, Maritime, Aviation, Medical, Factories and Automation etc. and how to get into it. I live in the Louisville Metro Area - Thanks
